I'm pleased to announce a rapidly filling events calendar for the month of February. I welcome you to take a look at the calendar to see what's going to be happening and sign up for some of our online events. Each of these events has been tailored with a specific theme, but don't let that keep you from joining in on the fun! For the entire month of February, I'm releasing all equipment rating restrictions for scheduled online events! As long as you can safely fly one of the aircraft to be used in the event, you may participate using whatever aircraft you select, regardless of whether or not you are rated. So come out, have some fun, try out some new aircraft and have that flight counted for your flight totals here at AFVA!!

Also, be sure to check out the Fly it to Figari event on 15 February. This is a special "fly anything you want" flight. There are absolutely no restrictions - just use an AFR callsign. Fly anything in the fleet, new or old, current or historic; if you can land it, you can bring it!!
