I'm sorry if this is a dumb question and I am showing my ignorance...

Why is the Pat Robertson club named after Pat Robertson?

Is he famous in the world of Avaiation, real or virtual? Was he a founding member of DVA or something?

The only Pat Robertson I found on wikipedia was some televangelist who no doubt shouts about healing sinners and wants your money, I can't see what he has to do with AFV or DVA.

Dave, when DVA was founded, Luke and the founding staff never envisaged growing past 500 legs on a career - as a result, the various levels above that are very tongue-in-cheek. For example the 600 legs is named after a the six-pack (as in six-pack of beer or soda), the 700 legs is named after Pat Robertson who is the lead televangelist of a program called the 700 club (hence the name).

Hope this helps.
