Hello dear A330 pilots,

Finally i have solved the fuel flow or fuel burn rate problems that everyones having ..
Not getting the designated range with the Wilco/FeelThere A330 or having dangerously extra range of the CLS A330s..

I would like you to do this from now. These are the steps to solve it.. Works on both A330-200 and also A330-300

1. Go to your Aircraft folder in SimObjects.
2. Open aircraft.cfg in a notepad
3. Search for the string " fuel_flow_scalar " without the quotation marks.
4. Change its value from (1.250 in Wilco) and (0.437 in the CLS) to " 0.655" .

Please do not absolutely change any other values in it as it can create problems with the dynamics of the flight.

Also make sure the fuel and weights values are consistent with the manual.
I have included mine as an example.

[fuel]
Center1= 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1646.0, 0.0
LeftMain= -2.0, -4.0, 0.0, 11070.0, 0.0
RightMain= -2.0, 4.0, 0.0, 11070.0, 0.0
LeftAux= -7.0, -13.0, 0.0, 957.0, 0.0
RightAux= -7.0, 13.0, 0.0, 957.0, 0.0

station_load.1 = "2000, 37.0, 0.0, 0.0, Galleys"
station_load.2 ="0, 16.0, 0.0, 0.0, Baggage"
station_load.3 ="0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, Cargo"
station_load.4 ="0, 26.0, 0.0, 0.0, First"
station_load.5 ="0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, Coach"

empty_weight= 267000

AFVA A330 Pilots PLEASE NOTE --->> I want to know that all of you have received the mail i sent or seen this before your next flight with A330. As such u shall include the following in ur pireps Remarks section. " FFS - 0.655 " I will be looking at your fuel burn rates to confirm that you are using the exact value that i have researched and found here..

As for the Wilco/Feelthere A340-300 that gives an excessively overweight issue i will be working on it pretty soon and will let you know here.. smile

Until then, i would like to see the skies filled with A330s... wink
