Is there a way that the Co-ordinates of this Airport can be changed. having Just flown in and out of the airport I have these figures on my Pireps.
Landing http://www.afva.net/pirep.do?id=0xe39a
Takeoff http://www.afva.net/pirep.do?id=0xe39b
I am pretty sure I will never visit this Airport again, but surely other pilots will. Thanks

I'm very surprised it even placed you for that runway. Usually when you're that far off ACARS will say "Unknown Runway"

When I add Airports for Historical purposes I take a Cessna 172 and sit on the Runway and take the Lat and Long from FS, so there is an obvious problem between where the Real World Airport is Located and where Microsoft decided they wanted the Airport to be.
As this will be a know issue I will instruct all staff not to take any notice of the warning, should anyone else come across this. There is likely to be more airports in the Historical List that are the same.
So Pilots Please note when flying into WHF/HSSW your flight will not be rejected for distance from Runway. This Does not mean it wont be rejected for other reason as per normal flights.
If in doubt email the Operations team for clarification.

Thanks for clearing that up Roger. A word to the wise for the pilots, don't fly to the above airport if you care about your landing statistics, that flight has wrecked my Standard deviation from the threshold stats

The other problem with China is where Microsoft decide where to put airports and where the real one is-some freeware sceneries for China differ a fair deal from where the real airport is- I don't know if payware ones are any better-I just had one of my pireps held for this reason. Yes, Robert is right- certainly plays havoc with distance from threshold, etc stats.

The issue is that there are basically no payware airports for china either so we just have to deal with it
