Does DVA / AFVA have any VAFS support or plans to implement it ? I know a guy looking for a new VA and he is interested, but is curious about this.

Right. I don't really know what VAFS is. I thought was an additional plugin that did something with fake revenue.

Zayne,

VAFS, or VAfinancials as it is also known is a completely separate ACARS used by other VA's, and your correct in the fact that it deals with fake financials.

It is NOT something that can be incorporated alongside our own ACARS however.

I have logged a few flights with other Virtual airlines over the past years just out of curiosity but nothing comes close to our VA nor to our ACARS system in my opinion!

The Virtual Airlines Financial System (VAFS) is not compatible with our ACARS system, as Paul has mentioned, meaning we will not see it used at AFVA. What VAFS brings to the table is a flight tracking system, similar to our ACARS, that allows the pilot to select his/her departure and arrival airfields, as well as what goes in the cargo hold. If you are really good at piloting, you can try loading hazardous/fragile cargo, which will pay the airline a little more than the standard fare. This also means keeping a close eye on your bank angle, pitch on takeoffs and landings, as well as any turbulence you may encounter during the flight. In addition to all of this, the pilot is also paid a salary based on experience and route flown. Pilots are also scored on each and every flight, and this score is cumulative. So, before jumping into a VAFS system, take a few minutes to consider what you are really getting into.

Hope this helps.
