Effective immediately the Boeing 747 Program is closed.

The Boeing 747 Program has been rolled into the Stage 4 Boeing 777 Program as an additional rating for all 747 variants.

All pilots holding Boeing 747 ratings will retain those ratings in the now, Stage Four Program along with the Boeing 777. Pilots holding the Boeing 747 rating will automatically qualify for the Boeing 777 rating with no written or practical exam required.

Air France will soon be phasing out the Boeing 747 to be replaced by the Boeing 777. The Airbus A-380 will also soon be coming up to line status. Therefore, the Boeing 747 is officially retired from line service at Aviation Francias Virtuel.
